Edwin, Victor and Sir Dean)<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>DISCONNECTION:<\/strong> breaking of connection or what used to connect two things or individuals; to sever or interrupt<\/p>\n<p><strong>Synonyms:<\/strong> detach, disengage, unhook, unfasten<\/p>\n<p>Applies in electricity, communication line, water supply\u2026 even in relationships<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Connection suggests a mutual relationship.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Something is connected and flowing back and forth. Moving both ways.<\/p>\n<p>Along the way, it gets cut or interrupted. Something\u2019s blocking and hindering the connection. AND IT HAS TO BE RESTORED.<\/p>\n<p>As a cell group, more so in this season, we need to be reconnected.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/mylifeclips.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/11\/14884703_1756202647975033_5263791589776002138_o.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-514\" src=\"http:\/\/mylifeclips.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/11\/14884703_1756202647975033_5263791589776002138_o-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"14884703_1756202647975033_5263791589776002138_o\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\" srcset=\"https:\/\/noordinaryadvisor.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/11\/14884703_1756202647975033_5263791589776002138_o-1024x683.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/noordinaryadvisor.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/11\/14884703_1756202647975033_5263791589776002138_o-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/noordinaryadvisor.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/11\/14884703_1756202647975033_5263791589776002138_o.jpg 1368w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Who do we need to reconnect to?<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><strong>Reconnect to GOD<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ul>\n<li>He is our primary source for living. Not just living <u>in Him<\/u> (salvation), <u>for Him<\/u> (ministry) but actually living <u>with Him<\/u> (doing all these together with God).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em><strong>Romans 8:<\/strong><strong>38\u00a0<\/strong>For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, <strong>39\u00a0<\/strong>nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>So if <u>nothing can separate us from the love of God<\/u>, what or who is causing the separation?<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><strong>Unconfessed Sin<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><em><strong>Rev 2:4\u00a0<\/strong>Nevertheless I have this against you, that <u>you have left your first love.<\/u> <strong>5\u00a0<\/strong>Remember therefore <u>from where you have fallen<\/u>; repent and do the first works, or else I will come to you quickly and remove your lampstand from its place\u2014unless you repent.<\/em><\/p>\n<p># clog, accumulation of neglected dirt in the pipeline (barado)<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>1 John 1:9\u00a0<\/strong>If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>2.\u00a0<strong>Undealt Discouragements\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Just a recap of the things we discussed before that can cause us to become discouraged:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Physical cause (worn out, tired, fatigue, overworked, bodily illness)<\/li>\n<li>Emotional attacks (criticism, slander, gossip intrigues)<\/li>\n<li>Unmet expectations: disappointment with God and people<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>It\u2019s not a question of whether we get discouraged or not. Humanly as we are, we do get discouraged. The better question is, <em>\u201cWhat are you doing about it?\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Ask your neighbor, <em>\u201cWhat are you doing about it?\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p>(-)<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Eat comfort food?<\/li>\n<li>Sleep more?<\/li>\n<li>Isolate yourself from the crowd? <em>\u201cGusto kong mapag-isa\u201d<\/em><\/li>\n<li>Wouldn\u2019t want to talk about it?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>(+)<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Spend extra time praising and worshipping?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p># Share about me jumping in praise, bending on my knees in worship<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Meditate on God\u2019s word<\/li>\n<li>Extend a helping hand; <em>\u201cWhen you\u2019re depressed, find someone to bless. When you\u2019re down, find someone to lift up.\u201d<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p># Workplace, colleagues coming to me for counseling<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>3.\u00a0<strong>Spiritual Dryness<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Discouragements, if prolonged and not dealt with, can cause our spirit to run dry. No zest, no life.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ezekiel 37 (NKJV)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>The Dry Bones Live<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>1\u00a0The hand of the Lord came upon me and brought me out in the Spirit of the Lord, and set me down in the midst of the valley; and it <em>was<\/em> full of bones.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&#8211;\u00a0dry, dull, seemingly dead situations<\/p>\n<p><strong>2\u00a0Then He caused me to pass by them all around, and behold, <em>there were<\/em> very many in the open valley; and indeed <em>they were<\/em> very dry. 3\u00a0And He said to me, \u201cSon of man, can these bones live?\u201d So I answered, \u201cO Lord God, You know.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>&#8211;<\/em>\u00a0<em>We sometimes feel this way. Oh God, I feel so dry. I feel like I\u2019m just going through the motions. Is there a way out of this? O Lord God, You know.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>4\u00a0Again He said to me, \u201cProphesy to these bones, and say to them, \u2018O dry bones, <u>hear the word of the Lord!<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>&#8211;<\/em><em>\u00a0When we begin to hear the Word of the Lord, it brings forth life. Rom 10:17 says, \u201cFaith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>&#8211;<\/em>\u00a0<em>When dryness comes to us, all the more we need to be exposed to God\u2019s Word<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>5\u00a0Thus says the Lord God to these bones: \u201cSurely I will cause <u>breath<\/u> to enter into you, and you shall live. 6\u00a0I will put sinews on you and bring flesh upon you, cover you with skin and put <u>breath<\/u> in you; and you shall live. Then you shall know that I <em>am<\/em> the Lord.\u201d\u2019\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>&#8211;<\/em><em>\u00a0What\u2019s so special about this breath? T<\/em><em>he Hebrew ruach means \u201cwind,\u201d \u201cbreath,\u201d or \u201cspirit.\u201d Often, when the Old Testament talks about the \u201cSpirit of the Lord\u201d or the \u201cSpirit of God,\u201d the word for \u201cSpirit\u201d is Ruach. When God breathes His spirit, it becomes a source of life. <\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>A religion without the Holy Spirit is godliness without power. \u2013AR Bernard<\/em><\/p>\n<p>#creation of Adam from dust, God breathed His spirit into it and it lived<\/p>\n<p><em>&#8211;<\/em><em>\u00a0Notice that God says I will cause breath to enter you and you shall live. But unless Ezekiel acts on the Word, nothing\u2019s gonna happen. <\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>7\u00a0So I <u>prophesied<\/u> as I was commanded; and as I <u>prophesied<\/u>, there was a noise, and suddenly a rattling; and <u>the bones came together, bone to bone.<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>&#8211;<\/em><em>\u00a0Unless we speak the Word and apply it over our lives, nothing\u2019s gonna happen. When we start to activate and operate in the power of the HS, things start to move. There\u2019s a manifestation of the presence and what was once disconnected start to come together. <\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>8\u00a0Indeed, as I looked, the sinews and the flesh came upon them, and the skin covered them over; but <em>there was<\/em> no breath in them.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>&#8211;<\/em><em>\u00a0Notice that when we start doing something about our situation, it doesn\u2019t change instantly. Sometimes it\u2019s a process and we need to persevere. We got to pray through until we break through!<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>9\u00a0Also He said to me, \u201c<u>Prophesy to the breath,<\/u> prophesy, son of man, and say to the breath, \u2018<u>Thus says the Lord God:<\/u> \u201cCome from the four winds, O breath, and breathe on these slain, that they may live.\u201d\u2019\u201d 10\u00a0<u>So I prophesied as He commanded me,<\/u> and breath came into them, and they lived, and stood upon their feet, an exceedingly great army.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>&#8211;<\/em><em>\u00a0It\u2019s one thing to invite the Holy Spirit to breathe on us. It\u2019s another thing to speak the Word over our lives through that \u2018breath\u2019 \u2013 Thus says the Lord. <\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>&#8211;<\/em><em>\u00a0The HS is our Helper. He wants to enable us to get things done according to God\u2019s will. <\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>11\u00a0Then He said to me, \u201cSon of man, these bones are the <u>whole house of Israel.<\/u> They indeed say, \u2018Our bones are dry, our hope is lost, and we ourselves are cut off!\u2019<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&#8211;\u00a0This sounds like some of us.<em> \u201cOur bones are dry, our hope is lost, and we are cut off! So how ah?\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>12\u00a0Therefore prophesy and say to them, \u2018Thus says the Lord God: <u>\u201cBehold, O My people, I will open your graves and cause you to come up from your graves, and bring you into the land of Israel. <\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>&#8211;<\/em><em>\u00a0You see, when God moves, He wants more people to move with Him. When one is reconnected back to God, it makes a difference in the lives of so many, getting everyone to move towards the same direction. <\/em><\/p>\n<p># In CG, experiencing personal encounters and breakthroughs<\/p>\n<p>&#8211;\u00a0more people are bought into it, moving together, stepping up together<\/p>\n<p>&#8211;\u00a0not just one set of bones, other bones are reconnected to God\u2026 contagious!<\/p>\n<p><strong>13\u00a0Then you shall know that I <em>am<\/em> the Lord, when I have opened your graves, O My people, and brought you up from your graves. 14\u00a0I will put My Spirit in you, and you shall live, and I will place you in your own land. Then you shall know that I, the Lord, <u>have spoken <em>it<\/em> and performed <em>it<\/em><\/u><em>,<\/em>\u201d says the Lord.\u2019\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>&#8211;<\/em><em>\u00a0Not only is God talking about it, He actually performs it!<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>&#8211;\u00a0<\/em><em>God wants us to get up from our graves, out of our dryness so we can experience the abundant life He promised and walk in it. <\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>&#8211;<\/em>\u00a0<em>God intends to make us a living proof of His Word and His power. And so that more people would witness it and glorify God. <\/em><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>ACTIVITY:<\/u><\/strong> \u201cCome, Holy Spirit\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Find a partner. Prophesy to one another and pray for one another.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cI feel the Lord wants to tell you that\u2026\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Pray for the person. Then the other person takes his turn.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/mylifeclips.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/11\/14902748_1756200257975272_1956413240124870295_o.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-515\" src=\"http:\/\/mylifeclips.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/11\/14902748_1756200257975272_1956413240124870295_o-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"14902748_1756200257975272_1956413240124870295_o\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\" srcset=\"https:\/\/noordinaryadvisor.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/11\/14902748_1756200257975272_1956413240124870295_o-1024x683.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/noordinaryadvisor.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/11\/14902748_1756200257975272_1956413240124870295_o-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/noordinaryadvisor.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/11\/14902748_1756200257975272_1956413240124870295_o.jpg 1368w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<ol start=\"2\">\n<li><strong>Reconnect to PEOPLE<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>I believe that out of that genuine reconnection to God follows a natural reconnection to people. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>&#8211;<\/em><em>\u00a0When our encounters with God are real, it translates into people. <\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>However, sometimes even if we are well connected to God, there are things in life that can cause disconnection with people:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Personality type (natural)<\/li>\n<li>Miscommunication or misinterpretation of motives<\/li>\n<li><strong>Emotional detachment:<\/strong> the person may be going through something that he\/she just doesn\u2019t feel like connecting with people (situational)<\/li>\n<li><strong>Offences:<\/strong> hurts, unresolved conflicts, unforgiveness<\/li>\n<li><strong>Disappointment <\/strong>with people, broken trust<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Dealing with personality types and different backgrounds \/ perspectives:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&#8211;\u00a0Let\u2019s be like Paul who was a \u201cservant of all\u201d<\/p>\n<p>&#8211;\u00a0Adjusting himself to the people he is with. Finding common ground.<\/p>\n<p>&#8211;\u00a0Because he really wants to genuinely connect with people<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Get to know one another. Spend time with one another. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&#8211;\u00a0Jesus was very balanced. He spent a lot of time connecting with God AND people.<\/p>\n<p>&#8211;\u00a0When you spend time with one another, you\u2019re having an opportunity to see things from their world.<\/p>\n<p>&#8211;\u00a0Not as strangers. Not indifferent.<\/p>\n<p># Someone in the CG who\u2019s not that approachable:<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cAh, kaya pala niya nasabi yun.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p>&#8211;\u00a0When you spend time with one another, you\u2019re having an opportunity to know what they\u2019re really going through. You may find a need that you can meet, a hurt that God can heal through you.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>So what do we do?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Do not isolate yourself. Walk with people in the light.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Fellowship with Him and One Another<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>1 John 1:5\u00a0<\/strong>This is the message which we have heard from Him and declare to you, that God is light and in Him is no darkness at all. <strong>6\u00a0<\/strong>If we say that we have fellowship with Him, and walk in darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth. <strong>7\u00a0<\/strong>But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin.<\/p>\n<p><em>&#8211;<\/em><em>\u00a0God is light. We are people of light. So if we want to walk in the light, we got to fellowship with people of light. <\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>&#8211;<\/em><em>People become prey to Satan when they\u2019re left in the dark by themselves<\/em><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Paul exhorts us to love our neighbors.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Romans 12:9\u00a0NLT <\/strong>Don\u2019t just pretend to love others. Really love them. Hate what is wrong. Hold tightly to what is good. <strong>10\u00a0Love each other with genuine affection, and take delight in honoring each other.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>13\u00a0<\/strong>When God\u2019s people are in need, be ready to help them. Always be eager to practice hospitality.<\/p>\n<p><strong>14\u00a0Bless those who persecute you. Don\u2019t curse them; pray that God will bless them.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>15\u00a0<\/strong>Be happy with those who are happy, and weep with those who weep.<\/p>\n<p><strong>16\u00a0Live in harmony with each other. Don\u2019t be too proud to enjoy the company of ordinary people. And don\u2019t think you know it all!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>17\u00a0<\/strong>Never pay back evil with more evil. Do things in such a way that everyone can see you are honorable.<\/p>\n<p><strong>18\u00a0Do all that you can to live in peace with everyone.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>19\u00a0<\/strong>Dear friends, never take revenge. Leave that to the righteous anger of God. For the Scriptures say, \u201cI will take revenge;\u00a0I will pay them back,\u201d says the Lord.<\/p>\n<p><strong>20\u00a0Instead, \u201cIf your enemies are hungry, feed them.\u00a0If they are thirsty, give them something to drink.\u00a0In doing this, you will heap burning coals of shame on their heads.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ffff99;\"><strong>21\u00a0Don\u2019t let evil conquer you, but conquer evil by doing good.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Turn your neighbor and say, \u201c<em>Don\u2019t let evil conquer you.
