Just updating my list of countries traveled to for leisure. 15 countries thus far. I feel I’m kinda on a slow pace. I remember an ex-colleague from Ukraine telling that she and her husband went to 25 countries in 3 years. I was like, “Wow! No wonder you’re always overseas on public holidays!”
I got several single friends who had the money, loads of paid leaves and appetite for adventure but just struggle to find a companion to go with them on overseas travel. NOT ME! It significantly helps to have a travel buddy roommate who drops the idea and arranges the bookings and itinerary for us. I think more than half of my globetrotting involved her and for that I am always grateful. Thank you so much, Dee! Mwah!
My usual questions would only be, “When are we going? How many days do we need? How much is the budget?” If it satisfactorily answers those questions, I’m good to go. If not, then travel can wait.
